Rediffusion announced the promotion of Kalyani Srivastava to co-president of the advertising agency.

Srivastava will continue to be based in Mumbai. As well as continuing to oversee the agency’s operations in Mumbai, she will also take charge of Rediffusion Studios.

Sandeep Goyal, Managing Director of Rediffusion, said: “I am delighted that Srivastava is taking on a more prominent role within the agency and will take on increasing responsibilities in the days and months to come. Since taking over at Rediffusion last year, I have relied heavily on Kalyani for both business continuity with existing clients, as well as growing new businesses. Over the past year, together, we have renewed the agency, welcomed new talent and refined our client deliveries. Kalyani, I am sure, will take Rediffusion to far greater heights with all her shrewd thinking, hard work and warm relationship with her clients.

Srivastava will join Navonil Chatterjee at the co-chair level. Chatterjee, who leads strategic planning, has served as co-chair for three years.

Srivastava took over Rediffusion Mumbai two years ago as Executive Vice President.
